Melissa & Steve {Eglinton Grand Toronto Wedding Photographer}

We photographed Melissa and Steve's engagement session one hot and sticky evening on Toronto Island. We loved the way the photographs turned out but it was also amazing to shoot in the crisp fall air. While I was with the girls in their beautiful hotel suite, Michael was with the groom and his guys at their home on the Danforth.

I had a blast with the girls, just getting to know them and quietly observing how they interacted as friends. They were so incredibly helpful in ensuring the room was clean, her dress stayed dry etc.
We hadn't planned on a first look but Melissa and Steve felt it would calm their nerves. I love that they chose to see each other at the last minute before the ceremony. Steve's reaction to Melissa was: Oh WOW! He looked genuinely speechless, as he should have. She looked like a goddess who stepped off the pages of a renaissance piece. The groom fit the part of Italian charm.

We love photographing at The Eglinton Grand. The mixture of old Hollywood mixed with contemporary glam makes for a gorgeous backdrop. Their first dance was viewed by the guests located on the mezzanine level. After cocktail hour, the curtains parted and the crowd stunned. Casblanca played in the background while the guests dined on gourmet food and the amazing band belted out soulful tunes.

We had an amazing time shooting this wedding and were so thrilled to be part of the festivities. We hope you enjoy the sneak peeks!

Love,
