Dave is Don's cousin. Cheryl is Jessica's best friend. Jessica is Alanna's sister in law. The chain of connections this year has been wonderfully bizarre. We spent time with Cheryl and Dave during several social gatherings. When she told me she was engaged and that a key part of their mere half-year wedding planning was that we shoot the wedding, I was positively elated. You will recognize these two from their Notebook type engagement shoot.
These two are humble, beautiful and kind souls. No detail of their wedding was left untouched. Their beloved dog Gus was included in so many ways. The bridesmaids and groomsmen gifts were generous and thoughtful. Cheryl is a simple and no-fuss type of woman who, even on her own wedding day, was worried about everyone else's comfort. Dave is a sensitive and soft-spoken man who was emotional when seeing Cheryl for the first time.
Their first look was private, romantic and heartfelt. The bridal portraits were easy and fun. The ceremony was short and sweet. And the party was off the hook.
